Contextual Advertising
Definition
Contextual Advertising is an Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategy where ads are automatically served or placed based on a webpage's content (determined for example, using keywords or category). In contrast to Pay-Per-Click, contextual ads are targeted based on the page's content as opposed to the keywords that a user types into a search engine.
